Motivated, results-oriented professional with 17
years of experience as Geologist where 15 years have been
applied for oil industry with Exploration and Production
background. He has proven experience interpreting
carbonate and siliciclastics sedimentological models from
detailed core description, petrographic characterization,
microfacies definition, porosity system recognition and
diagenetic modeling to build reservoir properties distribution
and heterogeneities understanding. He also applies
carbonate seismic facies (3D) description for reservoirs
interpretation and depositional systems analysis (sequence
stratigraphy) to predictive reservoir geometries and spatial
distribution. Similarly, he has work on international rounds
for prospect evaluations (Data Rooms). Disnahir got his
Geological Engineering at Oriente University (UDO),
Venezuela, in 2002 doing a research in siliciclastic
provenance applying trace elements chemostratigraphy, then
in 2008 he did a Diploma of Petroleum Geosciences in
Institut Francais du Petrole - IFP TRAINING, Disnahir also got
a Master degree in Complutense University of Madrid (UCM),
Spain, in 2015 where worked for REPSOL doing a
Sedimentological Study from Mauritania country (Africa),
characterizing reservoir quality of Precambrian carbonates
(Stromatolites). Experience working Onshore and Offshore
geological basins for Caribbean Sea: Venezuela and Jamaica;
Europe: Spain; Africa: Mauritania and Mali. Since mid of 2017
working as Geologist for ore metal mining business leading
exploration and prospection teams for 3 mining projects
across Venezuelan areas.
