+15 years of experience
Petroleum Geologist Magister, Reservoir Engineering Diploma, and Science and Technological Doctor
Venezuelan Geologist

more than 15 years of experience in
Project Development, doing O&G reservoir characterization,
specifically in geological area; during his professional career
has done activities such as stratigraphic and
sedimentological models in deltaic fluvial environments
definition, structural framework, fault plans, thickness and
electrofacies maps, well correlation taking into account,
highlighted electrical well-logs, well-core data, cuttings
samples, and biostratigraphic data. Carlos has experience
doing well-planning and horizontal wells geosteering,
hydrocarbon reserves calculation, prospective zones
identification and assessment, well-core description,
sedimentological column building based on core data and
cutting samples, facies identification. He has long experience
working in multidisciplinary teams for reservoir
characterization (petrophysics, geomodelling, petroleum
engineers, production analysis, geophysics, etc.), surface and
subsurface geology for anomalies search, collection and
description of samples on field, operation and deployment of
equipment for vertical electric soundings, data collection and
analysis of them for geological interpretation of subsoil and
search of anomalies. Carlos has ability for leading and
advising multidisciplinary work teams of integrated studies.
Moreover, has completed analysis to increase productivity in
oil and gas wells, use and application of state-of-the-art and
innovative technology, improved recovery projects, promote
the development of new technologies, to help clients make
the right decisions; Some personal skills are teamwork,
